Manitoba currently has the least divisive Premier in the country. Conservatives in Manitoba closed three of our Winnipeg ER’s back in 2007 to make wait times shorter. Please explain this logic to me. Healthcare often seems to be bottom of the pile as far as priorities for Conservatives. My 95 year old mother had to travel to four different hospitals with a broken hip on bumpy roads because they also decided each hospital has “specialties”. Arrive at one ER, travel to another for orthopaedics, oops wait need to have a blood clot dealt with first at another hospital. Now need to travel back to the orthopaedic hospital. They made a huge mess of our health care system. Period. Quite happy to give Wab Kinew the chance to fix it.
